The energy demands of the world are increasing day by day and we are heading towards energy crisis. However, in wake of such a situation it is astounding to learn that the sun gives enough energy in a couple of hours to meet the world’s energy demands for a whole year. The bottleneck, therefore, is the proper harnessing of this energy using photovoltaics. A lot of research is currently being undertaken in the direction of development of better photovoltaic devices.
