The information on pests, diseases and nematode pests on ornamental, medicinal, aromatic and tuber crops is very much scattered. There is no book at present which comprehensively and exclusively deals with the above aspects on these crops. The present book deals with integrated pest, disease and nematode management in ornamental, medicinal, aromatic and tuber crops in detail using regulatory, physical, cultural, chemical, biological, host plant resistance and integrated methods. This book is a practical guide to growers of ornamental, medicinal, aromatic and tuber crops. Further, it is a useful reference to students, researchers, extension workers and policy makers. The book can be used for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well. Of the several factors responsible for lower productivity of ornamental, medicinal, aromatic and tuber crops, pests (insect pests, diseases and nematode parasites) are considered as important limiting factors. In this context the present book is of immense help to teach courses on plant protection in ornamental, medicinal, aromatic and tuber crops.Title Advances in Integrated Pest and Disease Management in Horticultural Crops , Vol. 3: Ornamental, Medicinal, Aromatic and Tuber Crops Table of Content Ornamental Crops: Rose, Carnation, Gerbera, Chrysanthemum, Gladiolus, Tuberose, Crossandra, China Aster, Marigold, Petunia, Narcissus, Zinnia, Orchid, Anthurium, Ornamental Crops Under Protected Cultivation: Rose, Chrysanthemum, Carnation, Gerbera, Orchids, Anthurium, Medicinal Plants: Solanum, Periwinkle, Isabgol, Aswagandha, Coleus, Opium Poppy, Sarpagandha, Kacholam, Chinese Potato, Henbane, Brahmi, Ammi majus, Dioscorea, Safed Musli, Pyrethrum, Senna, Liquorice, Cinchona, Belladonna, Gloriosa, Guggal, Long Pepper, Aloe vera, Babchi, Duboisia, Muskdana, Rosemary, South American Marigold, Kalmegh, Aromatic Crops: Jasmine, Mint, Basil, Lemon Grass, Patchouli, Davana, Scented Geranium, Chamomile, Citronella, Sage, Palmarosa, Vetiver, Tuber Crops: Potato, Yam, Sweet Potato, Cassava (Tapioca), Colocasia, Elephant Foot Yam, Lesser Yam, Vertebrate Pests of Tuber Crops, Allied Topics in Pest Management: Use of Power Sprayers, Use of Stickers/Spreaders, Preparation of 1% Bordeaux Mixture, Preparation of 4% Neem Seed Kernel Extract, Seed Treatment for Storage, Control of Rodents, Control of Termites, Control of Root Grubs, Ready Reckoner for making Pesticide Spray Solutions, Compatibility Chart, Pest and Disease Management in Nurseries, Soil Solarization, Biopesticides, Enrichment of FYM with Bioagents, Seed Biopriming/Solid Matrix Priming, Formulation of Alginated Pellets of Biocontrol Agents, Production of Bioagent Colonized Seedlings, Traditional Pest Control, Sources of Critical Inputs for the Management of Pests and Diseases: Insecticides, Fungicides, Rodenticides, Nematicides, Predators, Parasitoids, Pathogens, Pheromones, Neem-based and other Botanicals+L20 Page No. 370 Author's Name P.
